A Premium App Store, Why It Will Happen
Rumors have been swirling. It seems for the last 2-3 Months many sites have been predicting a premium app store. It would be a seperate section and all apps would be $20+. Here’s is my list!
1. A Needle In A Hay Stack
Finding apps is like Finding A Needle In A Hay Stack, It’s too hard to find quality apps.
2. Apple Wants To Make Money
Apple Recieves A 30% cut of all sales. So you do the math more premium apps = more revenue.
3. 99 Cent’s may not be worth your time
Developing an iPhone App requires serious hard work. It’s may not be worth the effort if a developer is only making 70 Cents a game.
4. Apple Wants The Platform to be at a level the PSP and DS are at.
Apple wants to be at the game quality Nintendo and Sony have, offering higher revenue cuts may intrigue more major companies.

A great thing about the App Store is their are many titles, over 30,000 to be accurate. With that come many great free apps although most are just junk, instead of picking through here is my list of 5 Apps you have to get!
1. Rasta Monkey Lite
Takes you on a swinging joy-ride, similar to games like sway.
2. Tap Defense
A free, tower defense game.
3. Arcade Bowling Lite
Skee-Ball, Except Free.
4. Deal Or No Deal: Lite
Deal Or No Deal the popular game show!
5. Tap Tap Revenge 1 or 2
I’m sure you already have it as 1 in 3 users do! Although if you don’t it’s a fun music game that you have to check out.
I’ve tried to hit all demographics hope you enjoyed!

Air Hockey Pro developed by Sean McNamara is just what it sounds like an Air Hockey game. A fun one at that. The game let’s you chose difficulties from “Easy” to “One with the puck”. Along with choosing difficulty you can chose from 3 Tables Classic, Retro, and Ponies. Controls are simple and add a pick up and play sense to the game. To move your puck move your finger. As with a real air hockey game you can not move your puck accross the 1/2 way mark. Their is barely any bugs except for the occasiponal puck stuck in a corner although it is generally resolved in less than a second. This game is fun and I have to say don’t pass it up at it’s stellar price of a buck.

2 years ago • Notes2XL SuperCross, looks like it will make a splash when it hits the App Store. The game is one of the first off road motorcycle games. It will be realeased in “Mid 2009” according to the developer 2XL Games.
We should expect to see 15 different bikes to chose from with 15 different skins and 15 different rider skins. Along with 12 different tracks, including a freestyle level. The game will be priced at $7.99.
